New Order - Confirming Shipping And Payment

This screen of the 'Creating Offline Order' wizard is where you can enter shipping and payment information for the order.

Shipping and Handling

The 'Shipping and Handling' area is where you can specify shipping information and confirm any handling charges for an order. The fields within this area are described below.

Field

Meaning

Class

Select a shipping class, based on the selected location of the customer. See Zones and Classes.

Charge

The value of the shipping on the order.

If you are using 'Simple' shipping (see Basic Shipping Charges) then the shipping value will appear in the 'Charge' field.

Special Delivery Instructions

Enter any other relevant shipping details in this field.

Calculated Shipping Cost

You can use this field to edit the shipping charge on the order. Make any changes required and then click the 'Update' button.

Payment

This is where you can enter the customer's payment details.

The 'Charge' area shows the total value of the order, broken down into shipping, tax and any adjustments.

The fields available for entering payment details are as follows:

Method

Select the payment method that you are going to use for the order. Payment methods are selected in 'Business Settings | Payment and Security' - see Selecting Your Online Payment Methods.

Credit Card Information

If the customer is paying by credit card, then you can here to enter the payment information here. This will include the credit card 'Type and 'Number' and any other information you have set up the store to request.

ECI

Indicates whether or not the order is an online order. This box should not be selected for any orders you are entering locally.

Coupon

Actinic Business/Designer only

Select a coupon that applies to this order. Coupons are described in An Introduction To Discounts.

URL

If your Payment Service Provider (PSP) offers you a virtual payment terminal in which to take customer payments online, then enter the URL of the virtual terminal in this field and click 'Go'. Actinic will remember this value for the next order you enter.

Click 'Next' to go to the final screen of the wizard.
