It is possible to upload your online store in 'Test Mode'. Use this feature if your store is already live and operational, but you have made some changes that you want to test online without affecting your live store.
To change into 'Test Mode' go to 'Web | Switch To Test Mode'.
This changes the following settings:
· The words 'Test Mode' appear in the bottom status bar of Actinic.
· Your store will be uploaded to 'acatalog/test/acatalog' rather than 'acatalog' on your web site.
· The cgi script ID number will start with a '9' - in order to not affect the existing scripts in the cgi-bin.
You can review these settings within 'Web | Network Setup'.
To change back to production mode, simply go to 'Web | Switch to Production Mode'.
