Reports in Actinic

You can access the range of reports on offer from Actinic by going to 'Operations | Report Selection.' or by clicking the button on the toolbar. You can also press [Ctrl + R] on the keyboard.

There are three different types of report within Actinic:

· Order processing reports - discussed in Order Processing Reports.

· Sales reports - discussed below

· Catalog (stock) reports - discussed below

Note: The 'Export' tab is discussed in Exporting Orders and the 'Email' tab is covered in Creating Emails In Actinic.

Sales Reports

The sales reports are within the 'Sales' tab in the 'Reports, Export and Mail' window. The reports on offer are detailed below:

Report	Description
Sales Analysis	This report provides a summary of sales for the date range selected in the 'Report Options' area. The summary provides sales totals for the total cost of goods ordered, together with the shipping, handling and tax charges. By clicking the 'More Options' button you can filter which orders you see in the Sales Analysis report. You can decide the statuses of the orders that are included, and also decide whether you want a list of the sales by country and customer, and a list of the products ordered by volume and quantity.
Transactions by Customer Account	This report lists the transactions by customer account (and the individual buyers) with totals for customer, buyer and all customers. You can set a date range in the 'Report Options' area.
Transactions	A summary of orders placed by all customers. You can set a date range for this report in the 'Report Options' area.
Transactions by Referrer	Shows a summary of all orders placed in the date range, grouped by the 'referrer string' in the 'User-Definable 3' field in the order. This referrer string can be configured to contain information about where the purchaser came from before linking to your online store. Details of how to set up the referrer text string are in the 'Advanced Users Guide' - see Further Ways To Get Help for details. You can set a date range for this report in the 'Report Options' area.
Tax Summary	This report provides information about the total amount of tax collected within a date period. For each order the value excluding tax and the tax are shown plus a total for each tax band and grand total. You can set a date range for this report in the 'Report Options' area.
Customer Orders By Customer Accounts	Whereas the 'Transactions' report (see above) lists payments received for orders from customer accounts, this report contains details of all orders within a date range (regardless of payment status). You can set a date range for this report in the 'Report Options' area.
Outstanding Payments by Customer Accounts	Lists the outstanding payments that you are waiting on from your customer accounts. It also provides a grand total.
Coupon Activity Summary	This provides details about the amount of activity for each of the coupons in your store. It gives details about the amount spent by customers with each voucher available for your store.

Catalog (Stock) Reports

These reports tell you about the products in your store, and can also give you a report on the stock statuses of your product range. You can also print out reports on the discounts you have enabled in your store.

Report	Description
Catalog - Summary	Shows a summary of products and sections.
Catalog - Detail	Shows a comprehensive report of the contents of your store, including all section and product options, text, image files, product references, price, estimated stock in hand and warning and suspension levels.
Stock Levels - Order Suspended	Shows the current stock position of all products that are monitored and have fallen below the order suspension threshold. More details about stock monitoring are in Monitoring Stock.
Stock Levels - Stock Warning Given	Shows the current stock position of all products for which a low-level stock warning has been given. More details about stock monitoring are in Monitoring Stock.
Stock Levels - Stock Management Enabled	Shows the current stock position of all products for which you have enabled stock monitoring. More details about stock monitoring are in Monitoring Stock.
Stock Levels - All Products	Shows the current stock position of all products in your store, regardless of whether they are monitored or not. More details about stock monitoring are in Monitoring Stock.
Product Group Discount Summary Business/Designer only	A summary of all the discounts you have set up that are based on the contents of the shopping cart. More details about these discounts are in Discounts Based On Products Ordered.
Order Discount Summary	A summary of all the discounts you have set up that are based on the value of the shopping cart. More details about these discounts are in Discounts Based On Order Value.
Coupon Summary	A summary of all the discounts that are activated by coupons. More details about coupons are in An Introduction To Discounts.
