A 'Related Products' list will insert lists of related products into your store. The content of this list is completely under your control, and is set up within the 'Marketing' tab of a product (see The 'Marketing' Tab for details).
There are two places a 'Related Products' list can be inserted into the design:
· As part of a product design - this will be a list of products that are related to this current product.
· Within the 'view cart' page - this will be a list of the products that are related to the products currently in the cart. This list will take into account all the products in the shopping cart, but it will be a single list.
To enable 'Related Products' lists in your store, go to 'Marketing | Related Products' and select 'Enabled'. The other settings in this tab are explained below:

This is the number of items you want to appear within the 'related items' list on the 'view cart' page of your store. Note that this is the total number of products that will appear in the list - and the list will be made up of related products from all the products in the shopping cart. |
You can now go to the 'Marketing' tabs of your products and select your related products. For more details, see The 'Marketing' Tab.
You can select the layout of the items in the related products list in 'Settings | Site Options | Layout' (under the 'Product' sub-heading in the grid).
To add a related products list into your product designs (if there is not one there already) you need to insert the 'ProductRelatedProductsList' layout selector into your product designs.
To add a related items list into the store 'view cart' page (although there should be one there already) use the 'ShoppingCartRelatedProducts' layout selector.
