Meta tags are pieces of text in each page of your site that are seen by some search engines, but are invisible to your customers. Customers use keywords to search the web for the products and services they want to buy.
There are three places to enter meta content:
· For sections - Go to a section in the content tree, and select the 'Details' tab. This is where you can enter meta content for a specific section. You can also include keywords for a section into the keywords list for all sub-sections by setting 'Include Meta Keywords from All Parent Sections' to 'True' in 'Site Options | Links'.
· For a brochure page - Go to the 'General' tab of a brochure page.
· For the front page of the store and the search/cart/checkout etc. - Click on the green catalog icon in the content tree and go to the 'General' tab.
