Keyboard Shortcuts in Actinic

The following table gives a list of the keyboard shortcuts available in Actinic.

Ctrl + X

Remove the currently selected item and copy it to the clipboard.

Ctrl + C

Copy the currently selected item to the clipboard.

Ctrl + V

Paste the contents of the clipboard at the current location. In the case of a section, it will paste the section underneath the currently selected item.

Shift + Ctrl + V

Paste the section on the clipboard within the currently highlighted section.

Ctrl + G

Create a new Brochure Page

Ctrl + M

Create a new Brochure Fragment

Ctrl + S

Create a new section underneath the currently selected item. If you have a section highlighted, it will create the section underneath the section, at the same level.

Shift + Ctrl + S

Create a new section within the currently selected section.

Ctrl + P

Create a new product.

Ctrl + O

Create a new component.

Ctrl + I

Create a new attribute.

Ctrl + H

Create a new choice.

Shift + F2

Zoom - use a larger box for editing large text fields.

Ctrl + F

Search for products, or search for orders (depending on whether you are in Catalog or Orders view)

Ctrl + J

Find products that have been ordered. Only available in Orders view.

Find the next available item.

Ctrl + E

View orders.

Ctrl + T

View the Content tab

Ctrl + Q

View the Quick Start Tutorial.

Ctrl + W

Preview the entire store.

Ctrl + A

Preview the currently selected page.

Ctrl + U

Update the site.

Ctrl + D

Retrieve the latest orders.

Ctrl + R

View the selection of available reports.

Ctrl + L

View the Template Manager (not available in some editions of Actinic Catalog).

Access the Help.

Refresh the product links to the external database/spreadsheet (only available in Actinic Business/Designer)

Ctrl + B

Refresh the Orders view with the latest order data.

Ctrl + A

in 'Operations | Stock Levels'

Changes the filter to show all products.

Ctrl + S

in 'Operations | Stock Levels'

Changes the filter to show products with stock management enabled.

Ctrl + G

in 'Operations | Stock Levels'

Changes the filter to show products whose stock levels have gone below the warning level.

Ctrl + O

in 'Operations | Stock Levels'

Changes the filter to show products whose stock levels have gone below the suspend level.

All menu commands are also available by pressing [Alt] and then selecting the underlined letter within the menu command.
