Entering Your Terms and Conditions

The 'Terms and Conditions' area of Actinic allows you to set up a range of marketing messages and also outline your company's policies on things like returns and customer privacy. Whatever terms and conditions you enter here will be displayed in the online store.

To access the 'Terms and Conditions' area, go to 'Settings | Business Settings menu' (or select the  button on the toolbar) and select the 'Terms and Conditions' tab.

Note: These terms and conditions can be viewed in the store pages by clicking the 'info' or 'terms' button.

Editing Your Terms and Conditions

·      Actinic provides example text, which you can personalize to reflect your own policies and circumstances.

·      If you leave any of these panels blank, then the heading will not be displayed.

·      If you want to edit the headings, then go to 'Design | Text' and search for the heading you want to change.

·      You can type up to 20,000 characters in all tabs except 'Remittance Terms' where the limit is 255. Any text you enter into the 'Remittance Terms' tab is also printed on the invoices generated by Actinic (see Order Processing Reports).

·      The 'Privacy Policy' tab contains some extra settings that are described in Privacy Policies.

·      You can enter custom HTML into the panels using 'Embedded HTML'. For more on this, go to Embedding HTML.

·      The company information you enter in 'Business Settings | Company/Contact' (see Entering Your Company Details) can automatically be transferred into your terms and conditions. To do this, use any of the following variables within the panels in the 'Terms and Conditions' tabs:
[COMPANYNAME]
