It is through Business Settings that you customize your online store to reflect your company policies, marketing strategies and other business needs. Since details entered on these screens are visible to your customers, make sure they are entered correctly, and are kept up to date.
The most basic requirement when starting using Actinic is to enter your general company details. This is done in Business Settings.
1. Go to
'Settings | Business Settings', or click the button on the toolbar.
2. Switch to the 'Company/Contact' tab.
The information you enter here appears on the online receipt, the emails sent by Actinic (see Creating Emails In Actinic) and on the reports generated by Actinic (see Order Processing Reports).
The settings within this tab are explained below:

Company: Name |
The name of your company. This is used within the title bar of the browser viewing your store pages. |
Customer Service Number |
The main telephone number of your company. |
Address |
Your company's address. |
Post Code |
Your company's post/zip code. |
Country |
The country that your company operates from. |
Tax 1 Description |
This prompt is used on the reports when displaying your tax 1 registration number. Edit this if you want the tax registration prompt to appear different. |
Tax 1 Number |
Your registration number for tax 1. |
Tax 2 Description |
Same as for tax 1, above. |
Tax 2 Number |
Same as for tax 1, above. |
Credit Card Company Ref |
Enter your credit card merchant account number here. |
Contact: Name |
The name of the main contact for enquiries in your store. |
Title |
The title for the main contact, e.g. 'Mr', Mrs' etc. |
Job Title |
The job title for the main contact. |
Phone Number |
The phone number for the main contact. |
Fax Number |
The fax number for the main contact. |
Email Address |
The Email Address field is for the address that you wish to be used when customers click on the 'Send Mail' icon at your web site and when a new order is placed since the last download (providing you have checked the Email Required On New Order option in the Orders tab). The field must include @ and at least one full stop. |
Web Site Address |
The URL for your website. This is not used in any of the settings for uploading your store. It is only shown on receipts etc. |
