'Best Seller Lists' allow you to create a list of the biggest-selling items in your store. This can be automatically controlled by Actinic, based on the orders you receive, but you can also change it manually to remove certain products and add others.
To enable a 'Best Seller' list in your store, go to 'Marketing | Best Sellers' and select 'Enabled'.
The rest of the controls are described below:

Every Upload - The list will be updated every time you upload the store. Never - Select this option if you want the list to be manually controlled - and not automatic. |
When you click the 'Generate Now' button, the grid at the bottom of the 'Best Sellers' tab is filled with the best-selling products in your store. You can manually edit this list as follows:
· To change the product that appears at a certain position, you can select an alternative one in the 'Product' drop down list.
· To fix a product as being at a certain position, select the 'Lock' box next to that product in the grid.
Best Seller lists appear in store side bars on most layouts. They also appear on the front page of the store. You can control where these appear with the 'Best Seller List Location' option in 'Site Options | Layouts'.
In the example store that comes with Actinic, you will also see a section page that contains the best sellers.
To stop a product from appearing in the 'Best Sellers' list, go to the 'Marketing' tab of the product in question and de-select 'Best Sellers'.
In 'Site Options | Layout' you are given various options for the layout of the best sellers list. You'll find these under the 'Best Seller Lists' sub heading in the grid. This includes whether you want a best seller list in the sidebars, or the home page, or both, and how you want the list to appear.
To add a best seller list to your design (if there is not one there already) you need to insert the 'BestSellersList' or the 'BestSellerListSidebar' layout selector.
