To view the details of an order, double-click on it in the order summary (or highlight it and press 'View Order').
The 'Taxes' tab is used to view the tax information supplied with an order.
Note: The taxes for your store are set up in 'Business Settings | Tax' - see Setting Up Tax.
There are separate areas with this tab for Tax 1 and Tax 2. To the right of the tab is a read-only field that gives you the total tax charged on the order.
If a customer is from a location that can be exempted from tax (or else you are using simple tax where exemption is allowed) then the 'Exempt from Tax' box will be active.
If the 'Exempt from Tax' box is selected, then the 'Tax Exemption Data' box is active. This will contain the tax exemption data (e.g. a tax registration number) that the customer entered online. You can also enter tax exemption data directly into this box.
